MHV Updates

As a result of the Annual General Meeting, held in Geelong on 12 November, I'm pleased to introduce you to MHV's new Committee of Management!

Male Health Victoria is pleased to release its first position statement on Men, Unemployment and Suicide.

Male Health Victoria (MHV) member Dads In Distress Support Services (DIDSS) received notice late last year that their funding will be discontinued.

Over fifty people gathered at the Lyrebird Community Centre in Carrum Downs on the 10th September to participate in the third Male Health Victoria Gathering.

Following the very successful Male Health Victoria strategic planning weekend, your committee has listened to feedback from members about the MHV logo and made some changes. Moving away from the 'target' image of old, given it's possible reference to violence, the new logo includes a simple Victoria state map and the universal symbol for men and male.  We hope you like it as much as we do.

This outstanding program has been running in Queensland for 15 or more years, conducted by the brother organisation to MHV – Men’s Wellbeing Inc..

Fake it ‘til you Make it - a show about clinical depression and men; warming, brutally honest and funny.
